Ingredients:
2 lbs of frozen hash browns.
1/2 cup of melted margarine or butter.
1 (10oz ounce) can cream of chicken soup.
1 Pint of sour cream.
1/2 cup of peeled and chopped onion.
2 cups of grated cheddar cheese.
1 cup protein of choice.
1 tsp of salt.
1/2 tsp of pepper.
Directions:
1. pre-heat oven to 350.
2. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl then transfer to a sprayed 11x14 baking dish and bake for 45 minutes.
This hot and delicious casserole works with almost any dinner. Give this hashbrown casserole a try, you wont regret it.
Variations
Add a protein - like; ham, chicken, smoked sausage, breakfast sausage, etc., to make this into a main dish.
